I can't find it by searching. I find it is not to be extended even though it was shortened due to the bork, but can't find the end date.

It ends a week before it should be ending. Usually, when a company tells their customers that they will receive three weeks of something, they don't fail to deliver on that three weeks because their systems fail. That's stacking failure upon failure.

I wonder what that might be.
Should they shift their entire schedule to accomodate one unfortunate mishap?
Perhaps they can make all the other scheduled dates if they just give up a little CC time.

I'm sorry folks, but there has been a little mishap. Halloween will be in November this year, likewise Thanksgiving will actually be the first Thursday of December. Also, Christmas will now occur after the New Year. Hope that straightens everything out!

CC is scheduled to end the 9th. If they extended it through the 16th, then they could start Mabar up on, say, the 17th. What's the problem? I think you're making up problems out of thin air. Additional week of no lfm but cove would be devastating.

On Orien, the cove usually loses it's luster rather quickly. Since yesterday and the day before, there have hardly been any LFM's for the cove (at least, not during daylight hours). Especially for the lower levels.

Running two festivals at the same time would be problematic, no matter what you may think.

Not giving people any breathing room between the two events would probably be a bad idea as well. After farming Cove like crazy, quite a few people will need a break before being ready to farm Mabar like crazy.
It seems, judging from the LFM panel, that most people are already getting burned out on Crystal Cove, after all.


Oh, and being aggressive and making personal attacks on anyone who dares to disagree with you does not help you convince people at all, btw.

Nice tone dude. The lag introduced from even one event turned on is bad. Having two of those things running at the same time seems like a really bad idea for everybody not running them. and do I think it is impossible to shift dates, no I just think it's a really stupid thing to do. As of Thursday or Friday you're going to see people hit crunch-time mode though, and I bet the CC groups go through the roof as people try to finish stuff. I don't remember those T3 items taking so many shards, but man, they sure do.
