I have a fvs that doesn't have any end-game gear, but can make 3 dual shard GS items. I am going to TR this fvs into a warforged artificer with a min2 hp item (con skills), conc. opp. sp item (cha skills), and a lit2 heavy repeater.

With Toven's Hammer giving lightning strike to your main hand weapon and also needing a decent undead weapon, I was leaning towards a triple positive heavy repeater for leveling. Having both would be nice, but I would rather save the larges for other characters.

Lit2:
Better overall damage for faster killing
More fun with lightning strike

Triple Positive:
Good align damage for those immune to electric (possibly better damage in the long run with Toven's Hammer)
Undead weapon to help lessen the burden of killing undead with a piercing weapon

Does anyone else feel like a triple positive would outweigh the lit2 for a TR artificer?

I'd consider going with conc op on your hp item and trip pos or trip air for sp item and i'd say rad 2 is probly your better bet for a repeater with cold iron silver admantine it beats boss dr and you can use it in normal content to blind opponents at range efectiveley giving your entire party displacement. You'd lose 1d6 on devil demon dps though but most undead still take fire some are even vulnerable still.

I'm currently using both right now. Both xbows are great to use. However, I tend to use the triple positive with undead or when fighting mobs, bosses, etc that aren't affected by shock damage. I'd say you are good either way when it comes to TR'ing. My personal preference is LitII just because of the damage and it's crazy sounding when three bolts proc the lightning blast.

I'm also making a radiance as well. Not sure how that is going to turn out.
