View Full Version : Auto-selecting quest difficulty

I'd love to see either of these approaches implemented for quest difficulty:
1. Remember and auto-select the previous difficulty this character ran the quest on.
2. A difficulty preference that applied to all quests, so for instance, elite rather than normal.

I realize it may sound trivial, but it has always been something that I thought would be an awesome addition to the game and would be greatly appreciated in either form. I don't believe either implementation would cause any detrimental effects to players, and would just be a way to save an additional click.

I say burn .0008 of a calorie and have to click the mouse 1 extra time.

The same could be said about many small perks that they have done I suppose, but it doesn't mean that they aren't appreciated when implemented. It would be helpful when grinding a quest 12 times on E.

Could say that they remove the pendant of time, burn an extra .0008 calories doing a light jog to your quest instead. Doesn't mean that the speed boost isn't helpful or appreciated, though.

Pretty lousy comparison. There is a much more noticeable difference between running from point A to point B than simply clicking one extra time. I know in my case I can rapidly select the difficulty and enter a quest. Comes from farming Tangleroot and having most of the instance behind me. :D

sounds like a nice idea, but no thanks. it's bad enough pugging now when
some yahoo enters the quest elite when it was advertised as normal. Give people
an excuse to "auto" open it and there goes the neighborhood.

Just saying the option would be nice. Personally I don't pug so I don't feel your pain in that regard, but I can understand how it would be irritating. Thanks for your comments I guess i'll just take the idea with me to the grave haha =) So how about those +3 tomes eh? ehhhh? JK xD

Sorry not for me is very easy to select what difficulty I want. Now 200 clicks to turn in map pieces is a pain...
