But what I did want to point out is that if you buy the pirate grog from the barter box and run butchers path in the harbor (so you're close to Smugglers Rest and an airship tower) you can get about 30 map pieces per Butchers Path completion.

A completion for any 10+ level toon is 3 - 4 minutes so you can get 150 map pieces in 20 minutes, easy.

If 20 people did this then the cove would be open every 20 minutes: 150 * 20 = 3000

So, instead of just hanging about looking at the barter box or poking Euphonia every couple of minutes:

(a) buy grog (it's cheap)
(b) run butchers path (it's easy)
(c) open Cove more often (FTW)

I mean, if everyone on Khyber who spent their time waiting for this thing to open did just 2 Butchers Paths runs it'd open 10 minutes after it closed.

I guess the idea is that these are community events and we all work together for a common loot grinding goal (whatever).

Still, I figured it can't help to point out that if any if those folk waiting about for Cove to open, they can easily make a real difference to the timing by just a little personal effort.

Seriously, a single 6 person group can farm an 3,000 map piece opening in not much over and hour. Just give up on Smugglers rest, buy the grog an run Butchers Path.

For those of you who will still just camp on the boat, well done.

This is tied up with my selfish notion of wanting the Cove to open more quickly. But it really doesn't take much if people bother to do anything other than just sit around waiting.
