Question Re: Character World Transfer

Hello,

I'm wondering if it is possible to use Turbine Points (rather than CC#) to pay for a character server transfer.

I have a character that I really want to move to a new server but I'm sketchy about giving out CC info online. I've been the victim of identity theft in the past.
I'm not saying anything negative about DDO or Turbine, but rather that I am a very careful person because of having to deal with the ID theft issues.

So, I'm hoping that since I can buy TP that I can use them to pay for the character xfer.

Anybody have any info on this or if DDO will eventually allow for it?

I also don't want to give Turbine my CC number... I've used a pre-paid visa gift card I got at CVS before instead. Might work for you.

As far as I know you can't purchase the "premium services" with turbine points.

Currently no, it is not possible to buy a transfer with points.

Yea... if they allowed it, it really could be free.

F2P characters could be doing the swaps all the time...
