I expected to wipe in a raid I never did before, but to die 2x before I even made it to the entrance? As a 19th level 2x TR FvS fairly equipped with almost 580 HP? Really?

The only part that scales is the manufactury itself, not the separate zones that lead to the two Raids. If you're really dying in there... well, frankly, sounds like you need to play the game better. There's certainly nothing in there that's unfair, or exceptionally challenging.

If you are not invisible do you have problems getting to the quests in Amrath? Because on a divine this should be straight forward and you can run ahead and open the elevator for others. I have first life, very little gear chars and do this.

but when we were in a group of 12 it was insane, I do not see the point.

I like the beastly explorer areas on house C. I play the game to have fun, not to get loot, so 15 minutes of interesting fights is better than 15 minutes of boredom that we get from von5 or adq1 normal. (It's hard to see a pug attempting epic on those :( )

As with Hound and VoD, the trip through the explorer area is essentially part of the Raid. So the point is it's supposed to be challenging, like a Raid.
