As the owner of 7 capped healers, I request you dump this new UI... Look at the forum posts.. Hundreds of us dislike the new UI. What made you think it was a good change to make? The bottom line is I/we don't like the change and want it reversed. Being a VIP for more than 5 years I expect my voice (and the others) heard. Please listen to the people that pay the bills and keep you employed.
Thanks,
Doc

I had problems the first couple of days but have since then adapted..I suggest other healers do the same.
I don't want the changes reversed but would like to see some options for scaling.

I can adapt in most quests but there is a number of places (tod part 1 against the red lava), EDA, and essentially
any place with mostly red backgrounds where the see through ui is a HUGE PITA. It makes it a lot harder
to heal without bringing anything good to the table. At the VERY LEAST make the UI opaque.

I have a capped healer myself, does not affect my healing ability at all.
What is it about the new UI that makes it so hard for you to heal?

Here's a thought: why not add an option to allow people to turn the new UI on or off - that way, those who hate the U11 version and prefer things the way they were can have it, and those that prefer the newer version can have their cake too.
Or would that be way too sensible for Turbine?

I did turn off all the vitals and that made it a bit better, but my eyes feel so tired now after healing raids.
I'm not a nannybot on any of my healers, and I need to be able to glance at quickly to evaluate the situation.

At first I found it a bit anoying but not the the extent that several on these forums were complaining about.
Now it's whatever.
Would I like the bars to be able to be resized? Yes (smaller for non-healers/larger for healer).
There are also some enhancements that I would love to see added however a lot of that would probably end up in threads like these with people saying who asked for this.

/unsure.
I love being able to read actual vitals.
The other day I was running an old cleric 2 alt of mine.
I was teaming up with a thrice TR'ed paladin.
He had 122 HP by lvl 3.
The other guys, a PUG mix of 3s and 4s, floated around 50-60.
Knowing who was in immediate risk of dying helped a lot when throwing heals.
Made my job as the only healer easier.
And I don't really like playing healbot.
:)
...
But, yes, being able to resize and customise UI more would help a lot.
Has any of our resident UI artists updated their custom UI post U11?

I dont particular like the new UI nor do i like the old DDO one i used to use skins but not many new skins out there for U11 yet.
Things that may help to fix this problem for us is.
Make the new UI a skin wich you can take on and of in the UI settings like other skins, have both the new DDO U11 skin and the old one (ofc with dog HP bars) That way people can pick what they like.
Choice some other skin rather then the DDO one from start there are many good skins out there ( not sure how many for U11 yet.) personally i used the blackbird one its very good imo.
Its more then likely Turbine dont really care about if we like the UI or not, wich means that atleast option 2 is a good way to go for now if someone have problems with it atm.
Just my 2 cents.
Ill sign for the option to be able to swicth off and on with the Skin. /signed DB
