I doubt this is the right place for this post but i couldnt think of where else to put it so here goes. This is no way meant to be inflamatory to turbine (lets get that straight right off the bat). Some people will disagree with the post but this is how i feel. I purchased the monk class after my vip expired and i had bought all the packs so i figure why throw more money at the game (i had already made a monk before my vip expired), take a break from spending my hard made cash. I tried light and dark monk but only liked the "dark" path. Then shintao gets shintao 3 ninja spy doesnt get an overhaul, fair enough these things take time to write the code for maybe in a future update who knows. Then no auto crit on stunned mobs so it takes longer to gather ki, ok maybe trying to balance out the gameplay a little i understand that makes it more challenging. Touch of death also now has some kind of save instead of 500+ damage it now mostly lands for 250. Balancing the game out again maybe idk. Now the latest is quivering palm never lands on a mob is this broken?
I guess the point im trying to make is why change so many things about a class after people have purchased it? Yes Turbine have complete control over the way the game mechanics run but really so many changes to one class only makes myself and perhaps other people want to go play a different game (i can imagine some of the responses to this bit lol

It was working fine for me running the new house C quests last night on my Monk. Maybe you are just having a bad run of luck, or your fighting stuff either immune or with a high save.

He's probably running up to a mob and doing quivering palm right away, which doesn't work in U11 since the collision detection for melee lags 1 second behind the position of the character.

I noticed the quivering palm fault originally in a elite devil assault run, i used to just quivering palm the troglodites and cats pre update 11 it worked fine. And yeah david its as soon as i reach the proximity of the mob when i hit the quivering palm didn't realise the update had changed the positioning i'll give it a try later when i log in ty
