View Full Version : Weapon's Shipment Bug - Anyone else had the planescaller die in part 2?

I've run this several times now on each difficulty, but last night near the end of a run on Hard, the planescaller died and we got the old "Quest Failed" dialogue. This was the same dialogue you get on part 1 i.e. "The planescaller falls to the devils..." if the devils kill her, not the new dialogue you get if everyone exits the last part at the same time, the "With no one left to protect her..."

We were over 200 kills into the last part of the quest, and the whole party was still alive and fighting. I think I had 50 or so devils charmed. AFAIK, this shouldn't happen in the new patch. I've bugged it, but I'm curious if anyone else has seen this, or if there's any clue why this might happen.

might be location-based... i think you need to keep one person back near the circle or something like that.

There is no circle anymore. Instead she has a globe shield surround her.

Thought quest fails no matter where she is if she dies.

Havn't run it since the update, but not sure if part 2 she is supposed to be immune to death..... the quest is to protect her, so she must be vulnerable to death.

Sounds like its working fine

From the release notes: Weapon Shipment (http://compendium.ddo.com/wiki/Release_Notes_Update_11_Official#Weapons_Shipment)

The failure objective has been changed. Players now need to protect Liella d'Orien while traveling to the Planesgate, but no longer need to protect her once there. However, the quest will now fail if no players are present in the area in front of the gate before the battle is over. If the last player dies or leaves, the quest will fail.

Haven't had this happen to me, but sounds like a bug.
