CE Channel raids tonight

Hey CE Channel folks,

We ran MA and LoB on normal last night and got them both done, LoB was crazy but fun.

Looking at running them both again tonight and also Elite VoD, Epic Von6, Epic Chrono and maybe Epic DQ2.

450-500hp+ on mostly everyone will make it much easier to heal in Von6, Chrono and the new raids.
Under 400hp I will have to say no to sorry unless caster/healer/bard that I know wont be in melee.

I work Saturday but we will see hopefully catch you in game soon.

BTW that party list is for LoB, the other raids we will sort it out and will be fine, just taking 3 healers if I can to avoid pot usage.

Darn, melees requiring 450-500 hp now for raids eh, I read Beer_Dude's thread on the new raid bosses and it does sound like more work for healers.

But anyways this is the first I have seen an advert in forum for CE channel raids lol, good going mate! ;)

I saw the screen shot of those HP and Mana bars in forum, they look big and cumbersome lol, I don't know if it makes it easier to keep track of the HP for healers lolol.

Smash them raids! and keep it going! :D

You should insist on more HP than those benchmarks. It's critical in VON6 that melees can take 4 hits between heals, which really means 520hp with no DR, 500 with DR 5/-, and 480 with DR 10.

But I must admit it looks like an attrition game now post u11, of who loses resources faster, the mob boss or the 12 pple trying to kill it.

This game has indeed turned into one where if the 12 aren't commited, making sure that they are the best at what they do (min/maxers, experts at their craft, tacticians, power gamers), then it looks like many will be burned at the raids, coz thats what it looks like from the threads that have sprung up about u11.

Micro transactions on TP store pots, the future? I would challenge that notion any day any time.

I was tired and overhealing. Evokerkill had a quarter bar left so it was fine. And I'm totally ok with drinking pots while we're learning the raid. And then I'll enjoy the personal challenge of being SUPER efficient! :D

I think I'm also overcompensating for some of the bad lag and non landing spells atm too - I would rather play it safe atm. Yet to do an eChrono. We'll see if I have to drink anything in that last fight.

I honestly believe it is because for the past year we have become more and more complacent in running epics.
Starting them solo/duo as others join, waltzing through Epic Chrono or making a mockery of Velah.

This is a game yes, but you really want a party of 12 that is willing to work together for the end loot. Unfortunately for some that may take a bit more work to get to a level where the toon is not a burden to the rest.

Our first Von6 Epic after the change was fine, likewise Hard ToD.

One thing I think that is killing and wiping parties in Chrono and Von6 is Inspire Recklessness, it is really quite a bad song to use now unless the DPSers are not being hit. I make sure that is NOT sung. Knowledge is Power. Know what kills and prevent it :)
