Hello, i'm playing a pure monk, dark/ninja spy path, and i would like to know the best weapon progression. i'm lvl 14 and i'm using the stonedust handwrap (are amazing, the best i found till now) and would like to know when i should change weapon, maybe making it vampiric (i like solo playing and not be cleric dependant anyway, since often the mercenary don't obey...don't know why) or vengeful (but i still belive that vampiric can be more useful). Any advice? :P What should i choose for endgame?
thanks :)

I have vamp on one monk and vengeful on another, and, imo, the rage doesn't proc enough to be worth it.

Endgame? Probably around a dozen different wraps, there are threads on the forums. Stunning +10 for trash. Icyburst on the best AH stuff you can find. Something that breaks Damage Reduction on bosses. Right now, that means grinding Shadow Crypt or Devil Assault.
The alchemical crafting coming soon in the U11 raid will become the new end-game gear for monks.

Banishing/smiting/disrupting- These are insanely fun to play with :D
Holy of stunning +10- If it can be stunned, use these.
Metalline of Pure Good- If you have a set of these, GIMME GIMME GIMME :O
<hem>
But seriously, you really want a stunning set, the 3 instakillers and the DR breaker, if you want to go sheer damage though then a Icy burst of bleed deals some really nice damage.
Edit: Also, make sure they're +5, whatever they are. By end game you want every single point of to-hit you can get, as decreasing the chance of missing will change your damage from being "meh" to "meaningful".

Thanks for the help :) so in the end the stonedust handwrap are not good enough to spend time to make them vampire, right?

On the contrary, they can still be quite nice for certain mobs. What they will *not* do is break DR of the devils in Shroud or Amrath. I keep them around for certain things.

they are still a good wrap, I upgraded mine around lvl 13 or so and I love them.
As far as wraps go though, I carry a boatload and swap them in and out often:
+2 Metalline of Pure Good (even though i'm a light monk, couldn't pass them up on AH for 50K)
Flaming Burst of Disruption
Acid of Disruption (some undead are immune to fire, so I use these)
Shocking Burst of Bleed
Flaming Burst of Bleed
Icy Burst of Bleed
Acid of Pure Good
Banishing
Acid of Smiting (not bad for most golems and constructs)
Shocking Burst of Greater Giant Bane (my scale farming wraps)
+2 Paralyzing of Pure Good (These are my vale farming wraps - very effective)
I'm still searching for some Force Burst of Bleeds and Stunning wraps - Get started early collecting wraps because they go quick and are hard to find on the Auction.

FWIW: During my first TR, I never used my vamp handwraps. +10 stun wraps are more efficient at mob control.
I am, however, getting my crafting skills up enuf to craft some holy vampiric handwraps. (Not lesser vamp as is in the vamp handwraps.)
Lesser vamp does not stack with fist of light, and on my first life as a dark monk the +1 +1 +1... just wasn't all that exciting. Stoning was nice, but on a light monk +10 stun is much better.
