Let me open with a question... Is Turbine actually a business? Because you guys seem to actively be trying NOT to get paid. People have to prove serious determination to send you money in order for you to receive it. But to the problem at hand.

After the hassle of having to make several international calls to Turbine Account support and a few more calls to my bank the first time I purchased VIP, because apparently you cant be bothered using up-to-date standard card billing procedures, I decided to spend a few bucks more and just get the subscription through Paybycash. Everything goes smooth, I get my code in seconds, but when I go to my Turbine account to apply it, suddenly your magical system tells me that the GTC code I ordered for DDO, came to me in an email saying its a DDO code and that Im inputting after clicking on "DDO - Get unlimited access", is in fact a code that will give me a LOTRO subscription.

Im not a fan of forum rants, but it certainly beats screaming at some innocent hotline operator over the phone and yes, by now I am frustrated enough to vent that way. "Fortunately" I have a few hours to cool off before being able to call you to fix things again.

Working online billing systems are not some rare miraculously appearing artifacts. Why you are the only service Ive ever had a problem with using my credit cards, why you dont even properly process your own "game cards", why you cant wrap your heads around the concept that Paypal has no problems with recurring payment options is beyond me, but then again you dont even keep the instructions in your FAQ accurate, so I shouldnt be too surprised.

Looking on the forum and talking to people ingame, this is far from a unique incident, you must be losing a significant amount of potential paying customers just by your notoriously unreliable credit card billing - I bet a large number of people will stop right there. The fact that this hasnt improved in a long time would suggest that you dont care if you sell your product or not. Maybe Turbine isnt a business after all.

If you still need some assistance after reading that, you can contact the Account Management team for seem help. If you submit a ticket through the website, please include the Game Time Card in the ticket. If you call, please have the Game Time Card available. Once they have that, they will be happy to help you.
