Farewell G-Land and DDO!

Just wanted to drop a note to those I knew and ran with and say it was a fun run but it's time for me to move on. The catalyst that got me going was of course something that had me raging (Barb Past Life Fix) but that's just me, hothead to the end. The end result was it gave me a little bit of time to reflect on life and how much time I was sinking into this game. Time I don't have to spare. The moment a game starts impacting real life you know it's time to cut loose.

So I'm off to the real world and back to AWPing people in Counterstrike for a few minutes a day if time permits. If you do play Counterstrike you can find me on the Hellsgamers.com 24/7 Dust2 Unlimited Deathmatch Server under the name [ExLax]Stoolcannon. Poo Jokes Never Die!

It was a fun run and I will miss many of you.

Ive known for awhile I needed to quit to focus on family and work. This just game me the break I needed to reflect on my priorities.

I will look forward to AWPing your face. I am pretty mediocre anyway so no worries about being rusty. Since it's a deathmatch server you'll just respawn instantly anyhow so as long as you don't get frustrated by being shot 147 times in a row by people camping the spawn you'll be golden.

Heh I can get pretty worked up sometimes. I gets really ugly when the teams get unbalanced and you can't even get out of your spawn. Plus it's significantly easier for one team to overwhelm the other due to tactical advantages so most players join the Terrorist group for an easy button.

That's ok, once they do that I just resort to one of the more annoyingly cheap weapons and hop around shooting them in the face. I don't care if I'm 10-197 Kill to death ratio as long as I shoot the ****'s in the face. ;)

I love DOD. I used to alternate between the two games quite a bit. I love the moving spawn points so you feel like pushing the enemy back is actually gaining something and it also alleviates camping sniper issues. Move forward or you're worthless.
