a quick question from a wannabe-artificer :
Does "ranged alacrity" (For example, found on the "Black Dragonhide Armor") work properly with crossbows ?

Yes i'm pretty sure it works with Crossbows
However all ranged Alacrity items only deliver about half the speed boost they promise.
Never know this may be fixed this mod. Obviously big changes to Xbows coming

No real perceptible difference at present, whether it's applying or not, I'm afraid.

I can tell you that ranged alacrity did work moderately under the old system but was broken and did not stack with the inherent ranger bonuses like the 25% received from the capstone. I have the the Black Dragon leather on a toon I tested on Lamania but didn't go into great detail as it was broken. broken again and now aparently fixed... But, the way the system works you have to click to fire and then click to reload. So there is a great amount of twitch involved. Once you get the timing down and learn the new mechanic it "might" be measureable but I'm not going to put that kind of time into testing it until we get a final version on live. I can tell you it is much, much better than what we currently have.

Is the ranger capstone still borked to half increase, or was it ever fixed? Just wondering;)
