I don't. I've seen people offer 20 Reds as a "get their foot in the door" message. And there are some crazies out there with entirely too many larges - namely, those that had nothing to do but Shroud for a year.

I think they are referring to the fact that Seeker +10 will be available on the first tier of "Fire" for the new weaponry.

Despite this, I don't think it lowers the value of the item. it is more than Seeker +10 - all in all, the armor's a very good package. Actually, if anything, even better, since Improved Sunder will confer new benefits in U11, and the Marilith Chain's +10 Shatter has high synergy with this.

That and when you factor in the changes to Boss fortification the amount of actual DPS gained from Seeker +10 is significantly less.

...how many bosses will regularly fail a 44 Fort save when it really counts.

Overall, it's value has dropped from a unique and powerful item for max DPS to a much less unique and valuable item. The days of 30 reds for this item are in the past. I would expect a similar price drop on eSoS scrolls.

So, +3 to Combat DCs from Kensei III. Kensei could also get Fighter Strategy (Sunder) IV, +4 to DCs. There' also the Racial "Tactics" line, up to IV I believe. There's also the Fighter Past Lives, for +3 more to your Combat DCs (the passive past life feat).

a 4th life Dwarf Fighter who really, *really* wanted to Sunder that boss could do so with a 58 Fort DC. That's more in the ballpark of maybe sort of kind of happening.

Only thing about this is its a loss of personal dps just to attempt but i do agree it will be pretty useful but only 4 dc boost from normal to epic.

Imo crits are out procs are in. So monks cause of high base damage and ofc tier 3 air or i kinda like the idea of Earth/Air/Air for the decent cc. Seeker will now be mainly only useful versus trash which if you have a competent caster makes it useless cause it will be dead before you can start swinging. I guess orange named like devils in chrono though etc wont be terrible but meh.

Imp Sunder will give a -3 Fort save debuff on a succeded save that will stack 5 times with a duration of 24 seconds so it can sustained indefinitely if you keep spamming iSunder. -15 fort save will make it land on bosses FINE.

Why bid 35+ reds when you can get it for 20 (not that I know his actual paid price). Personally, I lack the funds to participate since I have a whole 1 red, but if I saw one posted for a price I could afford, I would be on it like pigs on slop. (and I have everything to make an eBloodstone myself)

Anything in game that drops or bypasses Fortification at the moment is only doing so for Crits, not Sneak Attack, Sadly. Improved Sunder just means more crits.

I agree that your word is your bond, but things change. In a public auction 2 things happen. 1 the persons name is listed so you see what he is offering. 2 was the wait of a few days. Someone probably saw his name in this thread, told him he could get that scroll right now without the chance of being outbid. Don't give me any garbage about ANYONE not taking up that offer instantly, because simple matter is, we all would have done it.

No quite clearly, many of us value our trading reputations and would not. So the simple matter is that not all of us would, even if apparently you would.

I think your trading reputation matters as you're accumulating resources and hoping to achieve the ultimate purchase. However, when you are after the highest value item in the game, anything goes, and what does it matter afterwards? After the acquiring the Marilith Chain Scroll what do you need a reputation for? And really, how will this affect anything in the future? If he has something someone wants, as long as he doesn't have the reputation of a blatant scammer, he'll continue to find people willing to trade.
