I decided to come back and play DDO again, but unfortunately I kinda forgot the the game mechanics, so I am in trouble making a new character. Thanks to Lifespawn who was kind enough to make a great build for me back in the day, I have something to start with. However I wouldn't want to walk exactly on the same path, so I'd be utterly happy to receive some guidance.
The reason I went this build in the first place (other than its great) because I wanted to roleplay a bit, but without gimping my character. I don't want to change the race (human), also I prefer two-handed swords so the build should be built around that. However I was thinking up some pretty weird ways to change the original build and I am really uncertain if those could work.
While playing, I realised that paladin is more suitable for my playstyle. So Would it be reasonable to make it: (12 Paladin \ 6 Fighter \ 2 Rouge). Also is it possible to change the 2 Rouge levels to something different? Maybe add extra Paladin/Figther levels or change it to something different like Ranger/Bard?
Actually I am up for any suggestions if it doesn't differ too much from the basic path I've chosen.
