Do rogues get STR modifier added to their sneak attack damage?

Umm... yes and no.

No, they don't get it added to their sneak attack per se.

But yes, STR affects all melee damage, sneak attack or not. So STR is good - it adds damage both when you get your nice sneak attacks, and when you're beating on stuff that's immune to SA.

Nope. These things may increase sneak attack damage.

- Odd rogue levels (1d6 for level 1, 3, 5, 7, 9... total of 10d6)
- Rogue enhancements (+12 for Sneak Attack Training IV)
- Rogue Assassin PrE (3d6 for Assassin III)
- Rogue capstone (4d6)
- Half-elf rogue dilletante (3d6 but does NOT stack with rogue levels/enhancements)
- Halfling enhancements (+8 for Guile IV)
- Gear (for example, Tharne's Goggles)

I don't understand it completely but I hear that the revised damage boost will increase sneak attack damage temporarily.

To use an example, I have a level 20 pure halfling rogue. He gets 10d6 sneak attack from levels, 3d6 from prestige enhancements, 4d6 from capstone, 12 from Sneak Attack Training IV, 6 from Guile III (not paying 8 more AP for Guile IV), and +8 from Tharne's Goggles. That's 17d6 + 26 sneak attack damage, an average of 85.5 SA, with numbers routinely popping over 100.

iirc, the upcoming damage boost change is a percentage boost to damage output, rather than a static +X to base damage.

Add the Past Life:Rogue clicky for another situational +10 and 3 rogue past lives for an additional +3

The only things that modify Sneak Attack damage are Mob Fortification/Aggro, Enhancements, Items, and Feats.
