Will I be able to LR+5 into Artificer on day 1?

I have a lvl 5 TR that I put on hold a few weeks ago so I could LR+5 into an artificer on day 1. In guild there was a debate on if we will be able to do that as you can't on Lamaland. Anyone know?

Which is to make people play artificer at all levels on Lammy for testing. I highly doubt this would carry over to Live.

That is incorrect. On lammaland, you have a +1000% exp bonus, which means anyone who wants to can hit cap in a couple hours. Much faster than the 3 weeks it takes to LR+5 into an artificer.

This will be how it is on live for a while, including the inability to get artificer levels from the vet ship.

Didn't they do the same for FvS, or was the FvS introduced before lesser hearts and the vet status?

They were introduced before Lesser Hearts and Vet status.

They already said you would not be able to lesser reincarnate into one or get vet levels for one for the first few weeks at least. TRing into one at level 1 is doable tho. Look up the dev tracker.

did they say this will be how it is on live? or just here on lam. there could be a difference. they want us to check out low level artificer's to make sure nothings broke with them.

Without that it is all speculation.

There is no precedent, since TR did not exist at the release of any other class.

Nothing said about any particular time tables.

We just don't know how it's going to work on Live. That's it.

We'd need a Dev comment for any sort of guidance on how this will all work in the future.

I think it would save many headaches for Turbine customer support if players could LR/GR into artificers once it goes live. No matter how bold they make a warning statement, people will still buy hearts with the intention of reincarnating into artificers day 1. Support lines would be crazy if they arbitrarily didn't allow it on live for some reason. Because of this, I'd assume that artificer will have full reincarnation functionality on live, but it's just an educated guess.

Yeah, I am sure they will be available for (VIPS) on day 1 to LR+5/TR into whatevs. WHy would they want to not sell hearts?
