So I'm debating my next purchase and would like some help from you all. I'm torn between monk, warforged, or more adventure packs. I tend to play melee characters and have a bad case of altoholicism. If you only had enough points for one which would you choose? If adventure packs which one?
Currently Own:
32 point builds
vet status
Adventure Packs:
The Catacombs
Tangleroot Gorge
Shan-to-Kor
The Necropolis part 1
The Necropolis part 4
Sorrowdusk Island
Devil Assualt

Reavers Reach? DT armor?

If Warforged are not a free race (I thought they were...), I'd go with Warforged. A possible reason why you tend to play melee characters is because you've never had a WF Sorcerer or Wizard. Too much fun to play!

Unless you don't have a single character in the level range, I'd buy Devils of Shavarath next.
It's the main endgame pack apart from epic, and he best source of exceptional stats, with some great melee sets.

Hmm it more depends what you feel you miss. Do you want new gaming experience, some ease with leveling high level toons, or new shiny piece of loot. If loot then which slot?
My recommendacions: If you happen to reach high levels and stay there for a while, or planning to tr i would pick one of high levels pack to easy xp grind, and grab shinies.
Reavers each since: good xp potencial, easy to find group, at least 3of4 quest are generally funny. (Monastery is also fun if you have nofail rogue and learn it) also DT armour should be nice upgrade for melee body slot.
Note: Aprat from DT armour RR is poor loot (no existing) and as you gain more pack, there will be more alternative to dt armour.
Devils of Shavarath - again popular rich in xp pack with some twinked items (like GFL+con6 in one) or expetional bonuses to hit.
Note: There is some discount now, so you can get both in price of new class or race.
However its more if you are going to play more at end levels, if actually it dont happen often then i would say monk. You like melees, and monks are little different, and open many splashes multiclasses option for altoholics. :-)
WF would be very nice if you have more love towards casters type.

My first thought in looking at what you have was Devils of Shav. Something to play at high levels, ToD sets...
You didn't mention it, but the shared bank is also something I recommend once you have a number of adventure packs.
Reaver's is also a good suggestion if you want more options for the armor slot. It's fairly easy to get groups to run, and high level.
Looking closer at your list I also notice you don't have Vault of Night on your list. That is a good option as it's nice when levelling, gets you house K favor for the extra bank slots and has epics for capped characters.
Since you're an altoholic monks and WF are good options too.
Personally, I'd go for VoN (or maybe Devils of Shav) in your situation (especially since all adventure packs are 20% off this week). But I'm not an altoholic and I went for adventure packs first.

Well I tend to like FvS class gives fair melee with great healing support but that is just my like.. WF are great fun make solid builds for about any Class. Packs I really can't say much as on live only level 7.. Shared bank is good.. I also think if maybe you could do vip for a month or two you could try out most every thing then decide better.. FvS though still need to be bought or gotten with favor..
Sleeps :D :) :D

If you can stomach playing a cylon then WF is something of an easy button, especially when paired up with certain classes (which seems to be all of them!)
Folks that run them seem to love them, though there may be some self reinforcement going on as they had to buy them in the first place.
If you look at this from the perspective of Turbine they have to give WF an edge over other races as folks have to buy them.

I was in a very similar situation, though the only pack of note I have that you don't is VON.
I went with Reaver's Reach instead of Devils of Shavarath, though I don't think either is a wrong answer. Those were definitely the two choices.
EDIT: I just noticed that you don't have Red Fens. Some quality gear in there for mid level melees, plus it's epic so you can epicify some of that melee gear to make it quite good at end game. (Claw set, basically.)

Thanks all for the feedback. Going to mull over it for a bit and decide on getting reavers and shavarath, vs monk, or warforged. Going to roll up a palemaster to see if I enjoy caster play enough to go all out and buy warforged. I don't think I've gotten a caster over level six. I'm not counting my bards, because they aren't a pure caster class. VoN looks interesting but I've got plenty in that level range. May pick that up when I've got enough characters ready to run it for epic stuff.
Oh and I do have a shared bank grabbed that before crystal cove last time it ran. With the number of characters I've rerolled it would have been impossible to transfer stuff from a character before I axed them.

If it's a toss-up between monk and warforged, take the warforged. I haven't regretted unlocking WF yet. On the other hand, I haven't played a monk since deleting my first two. Wish I could have the TP back for that one.
YMMV, of course.

I always choose adventure packs over the other stuff, because I figure it gives me more to play, which means more groups and more favor, which means I earn more free points, which means I can then get the WF/monk/whatever. Additional favor opportunities are always good for those that can't just go buy everything (read: most of us).

would like to point out that warforged casters cannot repair themselves while in pale master forms, and so buying warforged specifically for pale master seems odd :/
VoN has great epics, but if you dont have Devils, get it NEXT. far and away more important than other stuff considering it is essentially the entire true endgame

The Shavarath pack is ok, gets you good exp at high levels, but personally I found that I wasn't really a fan of the quests, and it is a real grind to do them over and over again to get the ingredients for the boots of anchoring. You must have the boots for the raid, and have to complete the flagging quests much like in the vale pack. The raid (ToD) is probably my second favourite in the game though, only a tiny bit behind the Shroud. So I flag for the raid without moaning too much because I know I will get to do the raid.
Von (Vault of night) is also really good. There are 6 parts, 4 flagging quests, a pre-raid and the raid. There is some amazing loot in there, and insane exp from doing the quests and raid. My first run of Von5 netted me about 21k exp on elite.
If you like end game content, go with the Shavarath pack, if you like lvls 9 - 13 or there abouts get the Von pack.
P.S. Warforged make better Archmages, while the fleshier races make better Pale masters (Human or Drow).

They can't repair / reconstruct, but can use death aura and negative energy burst. DA gives a heal over time like a clerics aura, NEB gives a healing burst like a clerics radiant burst.

Shared Bank. If you plan on running more than one character, and you like loot, Shared bank is essential. It allows you to transfer some amazing Bound to Account items exactly when you need them (usually anythign boun dthat you get will come a few levels AFTER its minimum level). Plus, you can transfer crafting shards, letting you have fairly easy access to +4 Holy silver <weapon> of Lawful outsider bane, or spell power clickies, or any other number of goodies depending on your crafting levels.
After that, Devils of Shavarath has some of teh best items in the game. Reavers Refuge is nice, and lets you put together some good armor, but offers nothing besides XP/armor. Inspired Quarter and Dreaming dark go hand in hand, and offer a lot of money via junkloot, XP, and some pretty fantastic late game items, not to mention the ability to upgrade several other items such as dreamspitter and Ioun Stones.
