Have a quick question that I couldn't find an answer to.
Running my first rogue build (always played splashes before) and am going mechanic with repeaters I think. I was wondering if the special abilities rogues get that are applied through sneak attacks and/or critical only count for melee sneak attacks/crits or if they are also applied through ranged crits/sneak attacks.
Thanks!

Ranged benefit from SA as well. you just need to be close enough for it to apply.

If you are talking about the crippling strike feat, that will apply to any sneak attack including ranged.
If you are talking about something like the Opportunist feat, that is melee only, ranged weapons don't benefit from the doublestrike mechanism.
If you are talking about Rouge assassin 3, that will apply on any sneak attack which would include range.
Just keep in mind that sneak attack range is limited to 15 ft. unless you have deepwood sniper 1 and then it increases to 25 feet.

I think that should be 15 meters, which is around 45-46 ft or so, no? With Deepwood being around 80ft (25 meters) I just woke up 7/10ths of brain is still sleeping, so I may be wrong. Still thought I'd chime in, thinking that its 15ft may discourage most people from going that route, knowing that its actually 45ft (which is still short for me gamewise, but better than nothing, lol ) may bring others too the fold, so to speak.

Sneak attack range was just recently extended and is actually pretty decent range now. I can stand WELL outside of the AOE damage from Arratrikoes and still do SA. As the blades close in, i can move behind them after theyre maybe halfway and still get sneak.
