Its a sunny day, Im in my local pub garden having an ice cold cider with a long weekend off work ahead of me

But theres a cloud on the horizon - Im awaiting the outcome of my MoT (annual vehicle roadworthy test in the UK) and as I drive an 18 year old Rover 220 Coupe (which Im very fond of) past experience has taught me it could be an expensive day indeed :-(

Oh well, life is full of worries I guess?

Edit added......and my worries are nothing compared to some people in this world at the moment, so perhaps I should be thankful for what I have

I hope the test goes well and you'll get by without repairs. Meantime, enjoy the day, listen to the birds sing and watch the lasses passing by. :)

Would it be better when you had a bad day everytime you see/drive your [insert boring soulless car of your choice]?

Yes, it is full of worries, and yes, are nothing compared to some other people, but "everyone is everyone and his circumstances", so it really doesn´t help to think about some other people.

I think about that greek wise man who said “He has the most who is most content with the least”.
Material things give you very little happines, as you get used to them very soon. But when they are taken, you feel unhappy, althought your brain tells you that it shouldn´t be so.

The real question is: What cider are you having? Let's hope it's not Magners but something exciting, like Aspall or Stowford Press. ;)

And yes, don't know where in England you are but in East Yorkshire it's been a nice day, clear sky (with the moon in the middle of it at 9AM.. odd?) all morning.

Time to get another cider, would I say. Freely quoting Napoleon:

"In victory, you deserve cider, in defeat, you need it"
