hi there i was playing around with an idea for an odd build but im not really sure if it will work out at all race would be helf monk would be dark. I just wanted a different idea but i wanted to be sure it would do something. Since this is something i was only messing around with any suggestions will be taken. oh cleric dilettante for a little self healing and cleric like wands/scrolls.

I do have one question which i didnt think about. the two hand weapon fighting from ranger will that really help with me hitting? that was one of the things i have thought about. this was also a fun build too. so just seeing if it might work.

i know i want to do damage with touch of death and Ninja spy prestige, decent ac, and traps. just kinda lost on what else i should get. i dont really know how to break down the health but looking at minos greater false life shroud hp item con 6 with toughness feat. i think with this build ill be around 514hp at 20. i might be wrong. So any help from where i can go from here would be nice. im not looking to do epic traps but if i can get most traps then ill be happy while putting out decent damage. I didnt include items because i dont know how to use that part but any ideas would help.

The class split is fine, but you need to modify the order you're taking your classes in, because it helps greatly to get GTWF as soon as possible, and also take advantage of the free Ranger TWF feats since you're going for Tempest 1. You have 1st level rogue, and that's good. After that you can mix and match Ranger and Monk a bit, but make sure that by level 12 you've got 6 ranger levels. Also you'll want to start with a 15 Dex so that you can hit 17 with a +2 tome. Aside from that, you're looking good here.

a lil confused on a few things - the build doenst have GTWF listed as you take ITWF at lvl 20? as well what weapons are you planing to use? the obvious choice is kama, unarmed or Short Swords with the dark path and maybe longswords if you ge tthe whirling steel feat, however the feat you took oversized TWF i dont think helps you at all as it states " Removes the -2 to-hit penalty for each hand when using weapons that are not light weapon on your offhand." as the short sword and kama are both light weapons

- this however is an interesting choice as a feat

- this would put your oversized two weapon fighting to better use. as well i noticed that you have weapon focus bludgeoning as a feat adn that gives yuor bludgeoning weapons a +1 to attack? this kind of defeats teh purpose of trying to use blades. i would always any melee class take some form of improved critical ninja spy gives it to you with Short Swords only so mayeb take imporved critical bludgeoning to add extra damage with your fists? toughness is really nice but i think that if you are dilletant cleric and can use ranger type wands and are a monk you should be ok with 1 or no toughnesses. i know that many peopel will disagree with me on the no toughnesses but 1 is really good and none if built ight you can get by with - add some healing amp maybe. another feat you may want to look into is weapon finesse as unarmed kama and showtsword are all light weapons and as a monk unless you are making a STR monk youll probably have some dex in yer build and most likely more dex than STR. hope these tips help- cheers m8

yeah i was thinking about the ranger thing. it was just thrown together at first but that does make sense to take the ranger earlier on. as for the focus i didnt really mean to put that in. i had fighter 6 in there instead of ranger but then i though how much it would help me with the free feats added on 2handed. ill revise it. since im kinda new at monks will the touch of death work on short swords or kamas when i use it?
