Last friday I upgraded to VIP. As of Thursday night, I still don't have the points.

I have sent a ticket in-game (on Tuesday). This GM told me to e-mail their support.

I sent an e-mail, and got an automated response. I still have YET to receive a follow up e-mail. I just want my 1,000 Turbine points!!!

It takes a while the first time, sometimes.

Chill. It'll happen.

VIP TPs should have shown up within 24-48 hours.
Emails to support can take a week or two to get results.

Best option is to call Account Support (during business hours) and they should be able to fix it right then.

(All that paraphrased from previous responses by Victorie.)

In-game GM's can't help with ddo points.

A 30 second phone call can resolve this issue. Or submit a mail to customer service and wait for them to fix it.

Unless you get stuck on hold on an international phonecall.

You know what else would resolve this issue? Turbine's back end not being more of a mess than the backend of Ryan Dunn's Porsche.

Oh no, an international phone call that might cost $0.30 a minute but gets an issue resolved nearly instantly.

Or you can go red faced waiting for a reply getting more and more steamed at having to wait.

Your choice.

40 pence (about 62 cents) per minute, actually. If you don't think there's something wrong with even having to spend a penny (US, UK, Australian or even goddamn pre-Euro Turkish Lira) to resolve an issue where a service isn't being provided after you've paid for it, you Sir are mentally ill. The onus of this fault is utterly Turbine's, it shouldn't be me or ANY customer who provides the impetus to get it sorted.

Even if you call make sure you file a ticket first to reference.

Make sure it is at ticket with account support and not one of the others including in-game.

why should he have to pay for an international call for something that Turbine is doing wrong...and then you give him a bad time about it... I don't know ANY CUSTOMER support can solve a problem in less than 8-15 min...
30 sec my butt

Unfortunately failed international payments is not fully a turbine issue, it can happen to every business, timely support or not.

Banks make it hard to check if your payment is 'on hold' because it can sit there for days.
The on hold may not be the issue but is one of many things that can cause delays.

What turbine needs is a clear status message to show between placing the order and verifying the payment.
This way we players won't be in the dark thinking the payment has been taken and the order gone awry.

Even better would be a way in myaccount to track by payment id.
The store now has a payment history, but think vip payments still lack it (at last some time ago, i went premium).
Given the high amount of people posting delays on their vips on time some improvements would be nice to have.
