Large Devil's Scale in Devils Assault norm!

ran last night at level on norm and pulled a large devil's scale from final chest.

i'd previously thought you only got mats on elite so was a little surprised.

anyone know the drop rate on norm? is this to do with the recent updates to crafting and possible increased drop rates?

If this really happened, you're *very* lucky. I've never even pulled a scale on elite. Did pull a demon's blood once, though, so I guess that counts.

Was this a +1 or +2 loot weekend? I didn't notice either way.

Due to this quest's wonky 6-12-18 scaling, I've seen amazing drops on the lower difficultes during past loot bonus times, including boot mats, GS mats, and the temporary Epic augments.

Rumour has it that when you open the DA chest on normal, it has a small chance of upgrading your loot to the hard grade chest loot, and the same for elite. Basically, you got incredibly lucky.

That's the explanation I was given when I pulled a large scale, a keepsake and a supreme shard, all in the same chest, on hard.

well i was on my Rogue and had just pumped my spot skill so can't say i'm too surprised i found the secret comparment within the secret compartment ; )

was hoping this was sign of increased drop rates but i'll take being lucky =)
