Yes i know most people's opinion on MyDDO, but as person who took over a large guild there is very little else in game to use for account assistance.

Question - Some peoples accounts show as annonymous, how doe a person turn this off? They are not annonymous in game, already checked. Reason for this is to find out what toons bleong to a member in the guild and see if they belong to another, trying to slow down the renown decay.

Question - Does MyDDO ever update? I am not sure it does as it shows the leader from two prvious gulid leaders not the current one.

Question - Can the guild leader be changed in MyDDO?

1. Question - Some peoples accounts show as annonymous, how doe a person turn this off? They are not annonymous in game, already checked. Reason for this is to find out what toons bleong to a member in the guild and see if they belong to another, trying to slow down the renown decay.

2. Question - Does MyDDO ever update? I am not sure it does as it shows the leader from two prvious gulid leaders not the current one.

3. Question - Can the guild leader be changed in MyDDO?

1. You can't change it. The player made a conscious decision to not have his characters linked to his forum account. There's nothing you can do about it.

2. It updates every time you log a character off.... except when it doesn't.

3. It will eventually update to the proper leader.... except in some cases when it won't.

MyDDO is technically still in Beta. It has never worked properly, and it may never get fixed to work properly. You claim that you know peoples' opinions of MyDDO. Now you know the reasons for those opinions.
In the situations where it works, it only shows what a character was wearing when he/she logged out, which may be vastly different from what he/she normally wears. In the cases where it doesn't work, it simply shows you outdated information, or no information at all.
MyDDO is completely and utterly useless.

I do not want to change someone elses status, I was asking so that they can change thier status. Mine is not anonymous and for the life of me cannot figure out how to change it. Is there a way someone can change it for themselves is what I should have asked.

Question 3 concerns me as the MyDDO shows the leader as different and its been 6 months so that is why i asked.

thank you for responding

Yes, there is a way that they can change it themselves, and they have already done so. Anonymous is not the default. They went through the steps that you can't figure out and changed it from the default. So if it was confusing enough, or hidden well enough, that you can't easily find it.... you have to assume that they are anonymous on purpose. It isn't a setting that you change by accident.

I understand that it was not done by accident, what i am asking is how do you go about changing it back? I have never done it so i cannot answer this question.

What I'm saying is that the likelihood that they will *want* to change it back is slim to none. The players that are anon have to specifically change every single toon to anon. It isn't an all inclusive change. If they are anon, they aren't going to want to change it back.
They already know how to do it, because they have to do it for every single toon.
If they're anon, they're staying anon.

For the record, it's under MyDDO, on your page > My Profile > My Characters

Steps they did to become anon (or to become public):

Goto my.ddo.com
Login if needed
Once logged in, click on My Profile in the top-right of the page
Click on My Characters on the bottom-left of the page
Use check boxes to make specific characters Public or not, then Save Changes
