missing spells

I was doing weapons shipment with a buddy and we were doing the optional (yeah I was suprised there was an optional there too lots of traps, only a little xp, now I know why no one ever does it) we were beating down a portal getting hit by snipers, about 25% HP I hit mass heal, goes through the motion but no healing, try again, nothing. Thinking about it now I should have double checked but I'm thinking it was pulling SP from my blue bar and casting as normal except it wouldn't actually heal us. I tried a few different things and finally got one to land. We weren't getting any lag or anything. I'm just glad this happened in a relatively harmless situation. It would be frustrating to fail a raid due to an issue like this.

So my questions are this:

1.) has this been happening to anyone else?
2.) is there any way to mitigate this?



Also ty to whomever gave me the tumble advice when I got stuck in shroud this past week. Apparently if you get stuck try tumbling it may unstick you. I wanted to pass that little gem along as well. I guess that's one reason why I bring this up. Sometimes there are little things that we can do to continue on even when the game glitches out.

Do you have the feat "quicken"?

You said you were taking damage, so you might failed your concentration and failed casting the spell.

Active the Quicken feat will cause faster casting and success casting even while taking damage (exception when getting knocked).

Yes, it is happening to me too. Sometimes a packet gets lost and the lag eats one of your spells.

Centering spells on yourself helps, but doesn't really solve it. The best way to power through those situations is to spam the small mass cures - try to keep the party at 70% or more HP, instead of wiating until you get low to mass heal. Use the dagger from crystal cove or the noxious embers to make it less expensive.

I would imagine it's similar to drinking curse pots in say ToD or other Sully-beating environment where sometimes, although rare, the curse pot doesn't actually proc and you continue to lose HP. Happened to me last night, as a vet, getting yelled at by another vet as 2 pots failed to proc it seemed and I died. "you're cursed drink a pot! Horoth gets HP back whenever someone dies!" ns? /sarcasm.

It has happened to me too. Also happens with undead form :(

It happens all the time. A person can have quicken on and still randomly lose spells, cost goes off but no effects hit. It's typically a lag issue.

Verify the connection and computer are good and bug report it when it happens.

It's just full of win when you are blasting quickened healing and nothing is happening expect the loss of the resources. It happens in other places than just weapons shipment too, but that one is pretty common.

I seem to have poor luck in ToD sometimes too. And subterrane.

It also seems to happen more often if someone else in the group has connection issues. When we are having lag issue like that it's not uncommon to see someone DC on the run.
