Below is my idea of a SpellSlinger Arcane Archer.

Notes on the build
I am trying to develop a build that has an even mix of the following.

Primary Focus & Roles
Buffing bard songs
Bard song crowd control
Bard spell crowd control
Mana regeneration
Some DPS for soloing and in-between crowd control

Some choices/notes I made were:
Took Ranger Dilettante for bow strength which will yield +6 to damage
Will be able to use a long bow with wind howler bracers or master's touch
Would like to use force of personality for will saves but could not see any room for it
Took extended for haste and displacement

You need manyshot. I am curently running an AA spellsinger bard12/ranger 2/rogue 2. The bow strength and rapid shot are great from the ranger levels and who doesn't like evasion. I still need to put down the bow though in between manyshot or I'm gonna be toast. If you want to keep crowd control and have some decent dps, i would suggest TWF.

Hit and miss. I usually start with the disco ball, stand back with manyshot until I pull agro, fascinate what's not dancing, and pull out my longswords. If my CC was higher I wouldn't have to use the fascinate, but that's what it there for. As for the charm spells, I usually hit about 75% of the time on normal, less higher up.

To spell CC endgame you really need a DC of ~40, that's pretty hard to do with a bard if you don't have capstone, max cha, spell focus feats, and gear. Trying to fit in all the archery feats needed for AA viability on top of the str and dex needed to hit and do reasonable damage strikes me as a pretty tall order.

Frankly I think you have to pick either spell CC or ranged DPS, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong.

You're missing every key bow feat...

Bow Strength
Manyshot
Precise Shot
Improved Precise Shot

The half-elf bow strength will help offset that first one a bit, but it will still be lacking.
