a minimum of 715 days to run 260 reavers and thats running it to the second and not counting completion times there needs to be an end goal make it 50 make it 100 but at some point your goal should be attainable

At one point we were told that IF raid loot fell for you the chance of getting a +2/+3 tome was 0.9%.

It therefore is not horribly surprising that you haven't pulled on yet, although 2 would be statistically expected, that's well within normal distribution.

You are running the wrong raid - that's a low level raid. Get into the higher level raids if you are tome hunting.

i have 2 accounts 28 total chars 16 of which are lvl 20 i have a total of 2 +3 tomes and i used to raid a ton yes i saw +3 tomes in some end lists but they were never the ones i could use haven't seen a +3 tome since tring came to be.

I know where tomes are supposed to be they just don't drop for me but my point was that after running a raid 260 times one should have what they were looking for out of said raid.

While I don't know your pain, I can still recognize your agony. Personally I think the 20th's should be a choice of any of the named raid gear that could drop but always a random tome (both in +# and stat).

Sorry to hear no tome for you but as a side point I have seen + 3 tomes drop in there on normal (In the chests not as end reward) so no need to do high level raids although the chance must be very small.

At the very least we should see only tomes on the 100th reward list.

Because how many people actually get there these days? Hardly any.

According to the Raid Loot Drop Rate thread, there's a 4% chance of having a +3 tome in your 20th list.

So 13 lists with a 4% chance each time gives a 58.82% chance of 0 tomes. So not a big deal that you have not seen one yet on the 20th lists.

However, assuming you ran it on elite all 260 times, you had a 0.8% chance of getting +3 tome out of the end chest each run.

To get 0 tomes on that many tries has a 12.38% chance of occurring.

So technically, you've only been a bit unlucky.

And by comparison running it on normal 260 times would give you an 18.83% chance of 0 tomes in the chest.

Only the Shroud is significantly better for +3 tomes than the Reaver. Most of the others are basically the same as Reaver's.

That 0.9% is close to the chance to get *the specific tome you want*.
