I am very new to this game, I messes around with a free account for a little before upgrading. I dont know enough about the game to attempt to make a tank, so Id like to make a human fighter damage character, and am looking for a build for one. I don't know what I want to do as far as two hand weapon, 2 weapon fighting, or oversized two weapon fighting, nor do I really know the advantages to using feats for exotic weapons, been trying to find a guide on the forums but all of the guides seem to assume an understanding of the advantages and disadvantages to those options

If you came on human fighter on kind of a lark, I recommend switching to:

Dwarf Barbarian
18 Str
8 Dex
18 Con
10 Int
8 Wis
6 Cha
All level-ups in Strength.

Feats
THF
Power Attack
Cleave
Improved Critical: Slash
Improved THF
Greater THF
Toughness

Enhancements
Frenzied Berserker

.

If you insist, however:

Human Fighter
As above, except 16 Con and 8 Cha.

Feats
Add Superior, Greater, and regular Weapon Focus, Greater and regular Weapon Specialization, Sap, Quickdraw, a bunch of Toughnesses.

Enhancements
Kensei
Haste Boost IV

.

The only exotic weapon feat worth taking is Khopesh, because it is the best one-handed weapon. Two weapon fighting at the high end is superior single-target DPS. It doesn't really matter.

I wouldn't exactly call it a lark. I want the human fighter because of the large number of feats. IMO best way to learn a game is to play the most versatile character you can, so the more feats I get, the more feats I understand, and then I can be the person answering the questions lol. Found another helpful thread about TWF kopesh. Now I'm wondering about oversized two weapon fighting. Does oversized count greatsword? I so does that mean I get the single target of twf and the splash of 2 hand weapon? Then, last question, are kopesh considered slashing weapons.

One-handed weapons can be Light or not. Oversized refers to using a non-Light weapon in the off hand while using TWF. It does not apply to two-handed weapons in any way.

Khopeshes are indeed slashing weapons.
