Excellent. A first, a sploit, and a few coc-v's without any reprimand other than a universal shut-down. It's like Turbine would rather let the players find the sploit and just shut down the in-game function til a hot fix rather than quality test the epicenters of possible sploits.

You sometimes have to wonder who is q-c'n the development. Crafting sounds like it has been a frequent theme with EVERY new implementation or special event (Crystal Cove, yes?). Now it's altars. Don't over-Q-C the frigg'n shoots 'n ladders when mechanics are being changed/added -- those are the places to stress test, not a few creaky boards.
