You have managed to persuade me to keep my sub running even though I have not really played due to my desktop pc being dead, except trying to play once with my oap laptop. Hmmm....wasn't it 3 full months last time? Looks like 2 bonus months for existing VIPs and new VIPs that sign up today, 1 bonus month for VIPs that sign up during the rest of the summer.

Not that I'm complaining about 1000 free points over the next two months :D

you will get the full 1000 just like me my date is the 28th of every month and thats when I get my points. by date I mean every 6 months but I get my points on or about the 28th.


I think they should make the 1000 perm for vip's its not like we are getting anything else. maybe perm for those who buy blocks of 6 months or more.

This is a good offer from turbine and something i thought they should do as a bit more of a 'carrot' for VIP's.

My idea was that a VIP after 6 months continuous payment they received a bonus of, say, 500 TP. then after 9 months 1000TP and 12 months a whopping 2000TP. then after that back to a bonus 500tp every 3 months.

Would give you a good reason to stay VIP.

i was expecting that sort of move to appear at some point
now if you wanna TR efficiently with xp pots and no need to grind epic you need to be vip
so soon TR will be a must have, which is quite the case already
so the grind factor is currently so high that incoming mmos will seriously hurt ddo

This is a good deal. My husband and I have actually been premium for over a year. We own everything (except the most recent pack) and have 12-14 characters each. But, since we were getting low on points we decided to resub for 3 months to get the points (plus, we're in the middle of a TR and the ability to skip to elite on some quests is nice).

Kinda hard to feel the love when you haven't even received the regular 500 TP from your VIP status. Billing date was 6th, and its now the 12th with still no sign of any TP arriving. It's a good thing I've come to not rely on the store for much, isn't it?
