Anyone else have weird issues with DDO launcher

Well i have notised that my other computer has been getting stuck while loading the servers. At this point DDO is not resposing and i have to close it. i wonder if anyone else has the same problem.

Same thing happened to a friend of mine. Reformat and reinstall didn't fix it so he has to launch the game via: http://www.mcgillsociety.org/PyLotRO/index.html

It works like a charm.

So how does it work? Im using Windows xp and only see how to run it on Linux or Mac

I have been having the same problem. I tried doing CTRL + ALT + DEL to bring up the task manager and it seems to fix it long enough to join the server I have selected.
