Hello guys, i think i am quite ready to go through my first True Reincarnation and i would like some feedback on my planned build to make sure it won't be a waste of time for me and room in a party.

I'm mostly undecided about feats and skills.
Surely two handed fighting, but don't know if take them all or only three. Would like to pick trip for the fun of it.

Focused on intimidate, balance, UMD and tumble skills.

Enhancements are not an issue since we can change them anytime. Was thinking to use dwarven axe specialization and all damage enhancements to max dps out.

Stats are also easy to assign when talking about barbarians but maybe you can improve the "max STR-CON syndrome" here.

Consider i got a +3 DEX tome so my final value will be 13 and using the +7 ring i will have an even 20 for the endgame sake :)

But enough talk i guess, feel free to comment/critic/suggest anything coming to your mind about this guy.

Pure barbarians don't have a lot of wiggle room feat-wise. You need Cleave. Power Attack, THF, ITHF, GTHF, and Improved Critical are all very important. Normally on a melee you'd want Toughness as well, and that's all the feats you get on a dwarf barb. With that said, you are a dwarf barb, so your HP are going to be pretty good anyway. I've got you at 360 before gear, enhancements, or rage. Even just picking up 1 rank each of Barb and Dwarf Constitution, not bothering with Hardy Rage, and standard gear, you're at 645 raged. It's not outstanding, but it's definitely workable, so you could really skip Toughness if you wanted something else, which brings us to:
Surely two handed fighting, but don't know if take them all or only three. Would like to pick trip for the fun of it.Not sure what you mean by either of these. There are only three THF feats, and everyone gets Trip for free. If you mean Improved Trip, you need to waste a feat in Combat Expertise for that, and you also need 13 Int. I really don't see that being a good investment for you. You could go with Stunning Blow instead - even without a stunning weapon and with fairly pedestrian gear, I saw stuns 1-20 on my first life barb.

If you are going to have a pretty good Dex anyway, you could invest in the Dwarven Spell Defense enhancements. That would give you a 14 naked Reflex save against spells, which with GH and a resistance item gets you to 23, which is pretty good for a basement figure. I think you would get a lot more use out of that than DR enhancements.

Thanks Kinerd for your feedback.

Could you please explain why improved critical is mandatory for my barb? I can't get it by myself. Thought frenzied berserk get some good crit improvements by himself.

I confused the trip thing, sorry, won't waste 13 INT and combat expertise to get that, no way :D I thought to get Cleave. Power Attack, THF, ITHF, GTHF, and past life fighter tier 2. Not good?

Don't think to get toughness feat cause i assumed my HP will be high enough

What Dwarven Spell Defense enhancements give? Just reflex save bonus? Should I drop DR and hardy rage for that?

For the skills, i thought intimidate, balance and UMD should be focused, and some spare points to tumble. Any other idea i could use?

Now i'll post the complete build until level 20. Looks like something went wrong in the opening post and didn't post all progression. Thank you all for reading and comments.

Improved Critical doubles the critical range of the specified weapon type. It's a key dps feat for any serious melee. It's by damage type, pierce, bludgeoning, or slashing, as well as throwing and range; one separate feat for each. In the case of the Greataxe, instead of landing a critical hit on a 20, you land one on a 19 or 20. More crits = more dps. Note it does not stack with item effects like keen or impact.

Doh! Looks like i forgot to add last ability raise and uhm... on 5 points i guess i should put 4 to STR and 1 to CON, right?

Thanks a lot Azrael for your explanation.

I confused the trip thing, sorry, won't waste 13 INT and combat expertise to get that, no way :D I thought to get Cleave. Power Attack, THF, ITHF, GTHF, and past life fighter tier 2. Not good? The active past life is just to-hit bonus really. Barbs have plenty of to-hit, and you have a +1 from the passive past life anyway. I think you could get more out of another choice like Improved Critical.
What Dwarven Spell Defense enhancements give? Just reflex save bonus? Should I drop DR and hardy rage for that? They add to all saves against spells. Reflex save is probably the most relevant, but you never know. I would absolutely drop the DR, Hardy Rage is a tougher call.
For the skills, i thought intimidate, balance and UMD should be focused, and some spare points to tumble. Any other idea i could use?I always like being able to tumble. Barb skills I never worry too much about, whatever you want will probably be fine.
Thanks Kinerd for your feedback.Glad to be of help! :)

No, put every point into strength and don't worry about con. If u are worried about making it even or not, remember u can make it even using +1 exceptional con/str (available on DT or ToD rings) or spending your AP in a different way.
On a full level 20 barb, you are going to have a hard time to achieve a good value in you UMD skill (probably 20 is the best you can hope, counting buffs, and 20 is barely enough to use some weapons/item). You might consider the split 18barb/2rog, if u want to max UMD. In that case i suggest you drop your starting con by 1 point and put the spare points into dex, so you can get more advantage from the evasion feat (which only works on a successful save).
I'd suggest to drop the active fighter past life and go with improved critical (as already suggested by Kinerd). Another possibility is going with the 18barb/2 fighter split and get 2 additional feat (which i would spend to get stunning blow and toughness, but if you really want, you can put the active past life instead of one of those).
With the splits you lose the capstone but your dps doesn't change much due to the haste boosts.

Since i don't have the ToD pack i d like to know how to spend AP to gain STR with level 20 pure barb :)

Glad to be of help! :)

The DT comes from the Reaver's Refuge pack
