Multiclassing, gear, and races aside, which stance is the most optimal for healing amp? I'm guessing it would be wind stance due to its increased attack speed.

Title is misleading: "maximum" should be replaced with "optimal". In other words which stance or combination of stances will give you the most healing/second?

Healing amp is not 'healing per second'.

Fire stance while wearing Jidz-tet'ka provides an additional 25% healing amp.
Fire stance allows you to maintain enough ki for healing ki every ten seconds while still firing off stunning fists as often as possible.

I don't think any of the stances affect healing amp, just races, gear, and paladin past lives.

For that "healing/second" thing which you mention, wind gives a higher attack speed which theroetically helps FoL.

But actual traditional "healing amp" which we know and love in ddo, does not directly get affected by any monk stance.

Fire stance however, if you are wearing the Jidz-Tet'ka bracers, give you an additonal 25% healing amp.

Just in case any reader didn't know, the Jidz-Tet'ka bracers are found within the Sentinals of Stormreach adventure pack, and is very easy to obtain.

Lets assume some reasonable gear and race/enhancement:

Human Improved Recovery III 30%
Monk Improved Recovery III 30%
Ship Buff 10%
Dragontouched with 10% and 20%

This will give you 1*1.3*1.3*1.1*1.1*1.2=2.45
Fists of Light will heal you for 2 to 4 hp per attack. A Monk using handwraps in Wind Stance IV has an attack speed of an average of 3.2 attacks per second (i'm to lazy to dig those posts up, but im pretty shure that 3.2/s is correct). So Fists of Light will heal you for an average of (2+4)/2 * 3.2 = 9.6 hp per second.

Now put on Jidz-tet'ka and switch to fire stance. Your heal amp will jump to 2.45*1.25 = 3.06. Fists of Light will heal you for 3 to 6 per attack, but your attack speed will drop to 2.6. Therefore, you will be healed for (3+6)/2 * 2.6 = 11.7 hp per second.

Now add up to three paladin past lives (15% amp), epic gloves of the claw (30% amp) and the difference will only get bigger, because of the multiplicative nature of stacking heal amp.

If you are talking about just reflective healing, it depends on whether Jidz brings you over a breakpoint (2.0, 3.0...). If it does, sun stance is much better, if it doesn't, wind stance is slightly better.

However, in general, it is MUCH better to use sun stance anyway. <3 sun stance <3

Actually sun stance might even be better at 3.5 and such breakpoints, but it may depend on whether you're using vampiric wraps or just FoL, I'm not going to do the math because I would never use wind stance anyway.

one thing i think that is not calculated here is that wind stance does not stack with haste. Buy a few haste clickies (i have 8 but rarely use as often a wiz hastes the party) and you are always hasted which means that the attack speed in sun stance is the same. The only extra attacks are the few extra double strikes. So, in the end sun will heal you alot faster and better. We have had a big disscussion about this on our guild chat with a guy who does the solar phoenix build and the higher the healing amp the more the difference. Example: if you have the dt armor on then sun is even better but with say garments of equilibrium you will be closer based on the way healing amp works. The higher the healing amp bonus the better for sun but if the amp is not much different (no dt, did not grab monk healing amp and are not human) then wind will be better as it gets a few more attacks.

I hope that answers your question. A human with the right setup gets 3-6 on each hit and with vampiric wraps, so end result is alot of healing per sec. In fact, a capped monk with 10 dr, jidz bracers, haste clickies and in sun stance can basically heal themselves through almost any damage. It is amazing to watch.
