I've had a mid-level pally with this instead of Unyielding Sovereignity, and I loved instakilling orange names with it (Inevitable in Tempest's Spine, the miniboss in Invaders, etc). How does it hold up in endgame? A pure pally can get the DC up to the high 30's with minimal effort, which seems pretty darn high.

How is the DC calculated?

DC is 10 + pally level + CHA mod
With 16 starting CHA, no level up points, a +3 tome, +2 from enhancements, +3 exceptional and +6 item, that's a whooping 40 Will DC or instant death for any outsider.

I would say that if you can hit a 40 at level 20 which btw is the DC casters are shooting for for Epics, than I would say your ready for any Outsider subject to being Insta-Banished.

The problem is not so much the DC (though that is against a fort save, which is less than ideal), as it is the 10 minute cool down. In the end I'd say that it can certainly work, but is less useful than a once-per-10-minute complete heal and dispel of most any negative buffs.

The Fort save is to halve the damage suffered on a successful Will save (like phantasmal killer).
The 10 minute cooldown is kind of a kicker, but it's still less than the typical time between two tough encounters (minibosses and the like). Plus, pallies already have healing spells and LoH, a once-per-encounter full heal seems kind of redundant.
