View Full Version : Sub'ed but acct. Not upgraded to VIP.

Hi.

About 7-8 days ago, I subscribed to DDO for a 3 months period. The process seemingly went without a hitch and the subscription time started running the day after. I am now registered as a VIP player in my account profile. However, my actual game account failed to update to VIP. It is still registered, and plays as a premium.

I have restarted my DDO client numerous time since.

A little over 5 days ago, I registered a ticket (Ticket #24001-95299) with online support, explaining the problem. I have yet to recieve a response.

I feel that the significance of the problem is not met with the proper attention, and I am now trying this way to reach support and hopefully trigger some response. I was planning on playing the content available through VIP in my summer holidays, but as it stands, all I'm doing is paying for a service I do not recieve.

So to sum up in order of priority:

1. Upgrade my account to VIP.
2. Set the subscription running from the date I'm actually playing a VIP account.
3. Consider giving me a discount or something for the inconvenience.

Turbine doesn't respond to support issues on the forums. You must submit a ticket. Ticket response times are 7-10 days.

A 30 second phone call will have this resolved.

If your VIP access does not start shortly after starting your subscription, you will want to contact the Account Management team directly. You can use the information in my signature to do that. They will be happy to help you!
