DDO Store Crafting Trinket Won't Craft

I bought the trinket for crafting from the DDO store, and shards that indicate they go with a trinket, don't go with this trinket. I even crafted an efficient metamagic shard which ONLY goes with a trinket, and they won't meld? Is this broken, or what's the secret?

I Pulled a craftable trinket about a week ago in a chest. I have also seen the fact when I throw it into the stage 3 of crafting.... Only thing that pops up is +5 into +6 craft.... Very disappointed.

If the shard you are trying to add makes the enchantment level too high, you will have to raise that first.

Could it be that the trinket only supports +1 crafting?

Pulled mine trinket in mindsunder elite, few week ago.
Couldnt put anything on it, so i used shard of power to put trinket stuff on it...
Since trinket looks broken ( it was made craftable when i got it, and it could go in crafting device, but no recepies for any shard [wich worked on SoP :/ ])

Examine the trinket.

What does it say next to (Craftable)? +1? +5? Nothing?

If it is anything but +5, try disjuncting it, this fixed my old mithral blanks.

The trinket is craftable +5, I advanced it to +6, but still can't put a +1 effect on it... but I can now apply a craftable +7 shard.

I went back, and applied disjunction. It works!!!!

Yep, store-bought craftable trinkets have to be disjuncted first.

Indeed the store trinkets need be disjuncted before using.
Must be because they were invented before the change for the shards of potential.

Nah, I bought one of the trinkets before the "potential" was added. Still had to disjunct the store trinket first before crafting. However, its only 24 plat for the dust of disjuncting, so not too bad in order to craft on it.

Thanks for buying this item. awe you wasted materials on it and can't use it? Okay just redo it man, quit whining. Thanks and buy more stuff plox. We promise it's all broken too.

P.S. thanks to the dev's who are doing good stuff w/ the game. This was more aimed at not having a warning on the item in the store.

Had one passed to me in Mindsunder, Hard. Also uncraftable before I disjunctioned it. Though the trinket even told me its already marked from crafting when I first put it in the deconstruction device. Just ignore that part, and disjunction it for crafting like you'd do with any randomly generated item.

I imagine that if the responsible dev was put to read and answer on /advice channel during launch day they won't leave loose ends like this again.
