Initial Threat Buffer from Intimidate + Threat Gen Items

From what I understand, the initial threat from a successful intimidate = the highest aggro on the mob's aggro list + your intimidate score, or 2x your intimidate score if you are using a shield.

Question is, assuming the above is correct, do threat generation items and effects such as Levik's, Epic Fens etc..., boost the initial aggro generated from intimidate?
