View Full Version : No seeker on trinkets?
Whats up with that? Bloodstone would still be a good item to get in order to make it epic. We can craft other attributes that are only available on named items. So why no seeker on trinkets?

Yep. There are lots of limitations for prefixes/suffixes.

has a list of what can go in which slots.

You mean except the part where we'd be making seeker 8 and 10 trinkets in a month right?

This. Even if you can make a +6 the Bloodstone would be horrible. Finding a Bloodstone is harder than leveling to 37 YES 37 Divine to make Seeker +6. Not to mention sands shard are very hard to come by.

Make the bloodstone epic. Ha. Good one.
Absolutely no seeker on crafting trinkets.

Or the part where they could limit it to what is in game, which is what they said they would limit it to. They could limit it to seeker 6 on trinkets, and up to 10 on weapons, which is what we have in game.
Meanwhile in other news, which outfit do you think this bloodrage shard looks better on? /catwalk theme music....

Seeker is a WEAPON effect. Trinket is a JEWELRY slot.
This specific (and related) questions were also previously addressed in this thread:

You can't build a realistic system around limiting one effect on one slot to X degree. Limitations are built into the system (essences, and ML), they just need to be used.
*IF* weapon effects were allowed on jewelry items, it should greatly increase the materials cost and ML.

It ties into business sure they could get more people into free crafting by allowing it on trinkets, but would they have incentive to buy the desert sands pack? The appeal of that area still is bloodstone, greaves, and spell storing rings along with a few other various goodies from quests. If they allowed us to craft such things I doubt people would be clamoring to run around the gnolly sands so much.
