Would a pair of these on a tempest ranger work out in epic wizking?

flametouched is obselete when you get holy wich makes the weapon already good aligned..

its not a bad item.. but not good either.. would personally keep it in bank but i know it would collect dust there
for 99% of the time

holy adamantine would be better imo

For epic wizard king, build a set of triple positive bludgeoning weapons.

If you're having problems landing hits, look into +5 X of righteousness/bane/greater bane.

Triple pos greensteel is WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY better.

But if you -must- craft one, make it silver, not flametouched iron. Silver will let it work on vampires.

If you've got flametouched I'd probably go with Flaming Burst of Undead bane for the extra damage from fire.

Yes, they will work. WIll they be optimal? No but they are a hell of a lot cheaper than 2 triple positive GS items.

If you're Cannith crafting, why not go with warhammers? Rangers have martial proficiency, they're slightly more durable, and if you have a light monk with you you can get very slightly better damage with the higher multiplier.

Also, if you happen to make the pos/pos/pos greensteel, then I'd suggest going with the Warhammers also. You'll get better numbers with the Good Burst/Good Blast with the x3 crit instead of the x2 crit from maces/morningstars and they all cost the same to make, so why not?

I have a pair of Pos/Pos/Pos warhammers on my Heavy Pick specced Kensai III and I'm amazed at how fast they tear up Undead even though I don't have IC: blunt.

Holy +2d6 on every hit
Good Burst +1d6 on every hit
Greater Disruption +6d6 on every hit
+7d6 from Burst/Blast on a critical hit
Disrupting strike on a 20

For beating on Undead, they're unbelieveable.
