the basic trade channel is limited by zones, the only way to have a global trade channel is to use a user made channel ie the one phayth created

A VERY good idea!

I joined it right away (was number 3 in channel about 10 mins after this thread was created).

Good to see it is getting some use, just hope its not spoiled by spam.


As for the guy who compared it to the "normal cannith trade channel" I would like to point out that each "normal" channel is specific only to that area, so the Harbour Trade is different to Marketplace Trade etc.

Bump for usefulness :) although a universal trade channel should exist by default! But if everyone joins this it's just as good.

I used it to buy a +2 Int tome I wanted in a hurry, and was contacted by a seller very quickly. Convenient for all the people who would rather be doing something than just sitting around in MP :)

Hello, first I want to say that this is a very good idea and thank you for making it.
Second, as I have never used a user made chat before, how do you talk in it :), and if need be, leave it?

After you join the channel you'll get a message showing the number of the channel.
If its your first channel it will be channel 1, so you need type /1 Message. if you have more channels, it can be /2 or /3.

Since I have "user channel 1" already in use, I would send messages out to "user chat 2" if I want to communicate right?
