I made a tier 3 ring of the buccaneer during the b-day event and now I have two toons who could use it as they're both multi-classed, but one is not 20 yet.

My question is: If I put heavy fort/toughness in the green augment slot will it bind to character? Or stay bount to account?

This is confirmed from experiments or just how it should be officially? But that is very nice indeed :)

Just note that some people have said that when you slot it, you can't clear the slot on it like standard epic items.

Ah.. Didn't know that.. Then toughness or +5 saves is probably the best bet anyway.
Was thinking of using it for heavy fort till I have my greensteel item... **** the lack of available slots!

Can anyone confirm that the Cove items can't have their Epic slots cleared like all other Epic items can?

You can only slot +4 saves. It's still nice, but not as nice as a +5 would be.
