DDO Issues

ok...here are the facts...I play DDO in windows mode and using Vista Ultimate, and every day i get a message that DDO is not responding.....then everything freezes up and sometimes it starts to respond or ir crashes....my second issue is entering different zones like GH, the Desert, the Vale the Necro...my client crashes....does antone else have these problems and if so what did you do to stop them from occuring....i have rest my IE browser settings, no change. Just dont want to get booted out of anymore raids cause i dc'ed as i entered the zone it was in.....any advise is welcome.....i am not totally computer illiterate so i can make changes if thats what i need to do....thx in advance.....Panekiller.....

Using Vista Home PRemium here. Never had any of those issues in the 2 years I've been playing. However, I have seen many people lag out and DC when entering large slayer areas (Sands and Sub mostly). Not sure what causes it beyond the ever-present memory leak that everyone gets, but some people seem more prone to it than others. Hope someone has an answer for you!
