Armor kit questions

A couple questions on my armor kit if anyone knows, if I upgrade my blue epic augmentation slot does that remove my armor kit? If so, how can I tell what armor kit I have on? I like it and if the epic upgrade removes it, I dont look forward to trying to find what kit I previously bought. Thx.

I don't know for sure but kind of recalls some posting about someone losing the kit when using an augment removal.
But adding an augment into a slot might not wipe the kit, but never tried so gotta confirm it.
Also, making an item epic for the first time creates a new item so the kit would be lost.

Have done it and adding an augmentation slot to an epic armor does not remove your kit.
