WF are living constructs created by magic NOT robots they would suck the life force from the "target" (as opposed to their blood)

Not sense of humor just fed up with people erringly referring to them as robots.

They're certainly not gynoids.

Not sure I want to open this can of worms, but couldnt they just as easily be considered magical robots?

I think it is apt.

The warforged are a race of living constructs created by House Cannith to serve as soldiers in the Last War.
With the signing of the Treaty of Thronehold they have been recognized as sentient beings and given freedom. Ever since then they try to fit in into a world that apparently has no further use for them.
The warforged have a range of personalities equal to those of other sentient beings
Newborn warforged come fully formed from Creation Forges at birth, with rudimentary language and instinctual knowledge of movement. Over first few months they are extremely adaptable and able to learn new skills, just like children of other races. It is during this period that the majority of warforged were trained by House Cannith in the art of warfare.

Well I suppose that would be a paradox there then since they can stay underwater indefinitely because they dont breathe air which is usually one of the prerequisites for life that isnt plant based. And they give birth, is this process similar to the birth of other living things like they hatch out of eggs or something?

Warforged are mostly made out of livewood so yeah they are very akin to plant life, on the other hand stating that only plant life can remain underwater indefinitely without oxygen is untrue ESPECIALLY when you referring to DnD.
The Following DnD/Real Life creatures are not robots & can breathe under water (without magical assistance):
- Sahuagin
- Genasi
- Warforged
- Fish..duh
- Various Plant life
- Sharks (Mammals not fish)
- Many Amphibians such as toads or salamanders (and various humanoid lizardfolk in D&D)
- Illithid
There's many more but I can't think of them off the top of my head...mind you if you use a race template from Unearthed Arcana (which is kind of cheating) you can make almost any race able to breathe under water.
Not sense of humor just fed up with people erringly referring to them as robots.
To whoever neg repped me for this at least have the courage to mention it and give me reasoning....feel free to choose from the following Inflammatory, Derogatory, Disruptive, Trolling, or violates community guidelines
- Sharks (Mammals not fish)
Wait what? Since when have sharks been mammals?

Its a matter of debate some say fish some so mammal has something to do with their mating habits and how they give birth (IIRC Sharks carry their young like humans or dolphins as opposed to the egg laying method of other fish) but I don't realy want to get into that :p

Some sharks may give live birth (some do, but not all) but they have no hair and do not nurse their young, which are the two other hallmarks of mammals. There are some weird mammals (duck billed platypus for example) who do not give live birth, but they meet the other 2 requirements.
If you wanna argue about made up fantasy races, why don't you want to argue about real world races? :p

I don't actually have an opinion because i don't know which is true.
Scientists = Experts on the real world
Geeks = Experts of Fantasy Land...sorta
Me = Geek & Worshiper of the person who invented the spell check...but definately no scientist...maybe a mad one :P
