I'm just curious, but is it just me, or does it seem that Rogue Trap Making is as broken as trying to kick a steel codpiece? Seems to me that when a rogue with "45 DC" on web can't hit what a wizard with a 25 DC web can, there's an issue, but I just wanted to be sure that it was an issue with the traps and not me just having a *** moment... someone confirm?

Rogue web and other spell traps use the DC from the scroll, _NOT_ your dc. So the DC you have is like...12.
The DCs on the damage traps are much higher, but again, they don't do enough damage to make it worth bothering.

Then they need to specify this, since the info that turbine has posted about scroll traps and mine traps is that it's 1/3 of the Disable Device of the rogue placing it for a mech 1 , and 2/3 for a Mech 2, jsut like the mine traps, which ALSO don't hit squat... they go off, like the web traps do, and... do nothing. forgive me, but if i set 12 Deadly mines, and they all go off, i expect atleast ONE of them to hit if i'm Rogue mechanic 2 with a DD of 70

I think they do go off and do a little damage. THe numbers don't show up on the screen, and is often too little to notice a big drop in the health bar. try sneaking up to a mob. set a exploding trap and a noice maker to bring the mob to trigger it. you will see the damage taken by the mobs.

I'd agree if i was doing it in, you know, Vales or something... but i ran tests out in the HARBOR at L20 before i TRed... the Deadlies, min L16, did nothing to kobalds on casual in the harbor... you can't tell me that that's just a matter of not doing enough, sicne the minimum damage should have killed them out right.
