hi, newbie here. can someone please clarify a few things:

1. in general characters are not transferable to another server. is there any way to do this?

2. in general banks are for one server. is there any way to have a bank that crossed servers.

3. guilds are attached to a server. if you join one, can you leave it?

4. what effect on these things does ones account type have?

thanks

Most things are possible with enough turbine points.

2. in general banks are for one server. is there any way to have a bank that crossed servers.

Not very likely and would bring balance issues as well as being technically annoying.

3. guilds are attached to a server. if you join one, can you leave it?

Yes.

4. what effect on these things does ones account type have?

Account type determines things like character slots as well as what's unlocked by default and what needs to be bought.

thanks

You're welcome.

1. It's a paid service, something like $20 or along those lines. Can't find the link anywhere. Edit: http://support.turbine.com/ics/support/KBAnswer.asp?questionID=57 (not sure how up to date it is)
2. Nope, no cross-server banks.
3. Also, yes.

sounds like this might transfer the character from one server to another. so it looks like there is no way to have a character on all servers.
