You can't hit the blackguards.
If it takes more than 3 hits to kill a ww kobold.
If you can't EVEN HIT the aforthementioned kobold.
If you die in several hits to the kobolds.

When the dice hate you SO MUCH that a good Tempest Spine run ends with most of the team being blown off the top with Sorjie 'one hit from death'...and it takes 12 crossbow bolts for the dice to roll above a 5 for the repeater rogue, leaving the summoned elemental to swirl in and grab the last hit. :D
Seriously, I wanted to crawl under a rock. :)

You are probably a gimp if you have no idea how to play your toon

You refer to the cleric (favored soul) as "the healer."
- I'll allow that this caveat is more for general quests than raids, but I've been leveling a cleric for the past life conjuration and everytime someone calls me "the healer" I always manage to outkill them by a wide margin somehow on a "healer." Not bragging, just saying I've observed this correlation.

if you are full rogue, taking the assassin pre, and have to keep telling everyone that you did not have enough skill points to get the trap skills like search, disable device, open lock, spot.. but you have max sneaking skillz. (true story)
--the aside reminded me that while I'm leveling I'm keeping a few rogue skills to help with solo, and with one rogue lvl I'm able to handle all traps all the way up (last life i stopped DD and OL at 12 and did not start blowing until elite Vale). I know don't pigeon hole a class.. but come on why be pure class and NOT be able to do what that class is best at.

*You get lost in Korthos Bar and can't find the Spirit Binder.
*You die repeatedly zerging through easy quests.
*Your name is Leroy Jenkins, Lery Jekins, or any variation of the same.
*You fight oozes and rust monsters with your highest level unbound swords "to cut them faster".
*You think spot and search are pointless skills for a rogue.
*You only see hidden doors with your rogue if the wizard in your party uses "Detect Secret Doors".
*You try to make a character like Chuck Norris but it ends up like Wimp Lo.
*You drop items you can't use, even if it's a +5 rapier of pure good, instead of selling it. Even when your inventory isn't full.
*You don't know why all these collectables keep appearing, but you don't keep them anyway.
*You want a character with 1 level of each class in the game.
*You can't understand what that blue bar is on the window, but you keep it full just in case.
*You think you can summon Gary Gygax.
*You CAN summon Gary Gygax, but he promptly leaves you to be someone else's familiar.
*You want to have a Druid that can turn themselves into a T-Rex with +5 metal jaws like that guy in the 007 movie.
*You make a character EXACTLY like Drizzt, but claim you "didn't know".
*You complain that Turbine won't let you be a half-nymph, half-dragon, or half-mindflayer.
*You're convinced Turbine should make bards carry electric guitars.
*You think you should be able to have children in DDO, and there should be a special skill for it.
*You keep on a running commentary ala Animal Planet during quests, talking in a fake astralian accent and repeatedly saying "crykie!".
*You make evil characters. It's Turbine that tries to make them "good".
*You wish you could use diplomacy to convince the mind flayer to let you join him.
*You want Happy Cat to be your familiar.
*You think cieling cat revives your characters when they die.
*fixed lol
Well, that's all I can think of for now.

You use MyDDO to screen people from your pugs.
You think having a killcount total higher than anyone else matters.
Your main is a dual-Scimitar wielding Drow Ranger/Fighter/Barbarian, with a name of some variation of Drizzt.
Your main is a Wizard with some variation of the name Gandalf or Raistlin.
Your main Wizard with some variation of the name Raistlin has 6-8 CON.
Your Half-Orc Barbarian has fewer hit points than a Human Sorcerer.
You think there is a class called "Healer" in DDO, which is only capable of and only purpose is healing.
Your Cleric or Favored Soul does not or cannot cast any healing spells.

Killcount only means you got the last hit. If a Sorc knocks every mob in a quest down to 1 hp, and some one else kills them, then he will have no credit, even though he did all the work.

So, 'the farmer' never does anything but farms?
Healer means, one who heals. As a divine, healing is most certainly part of what you do. Hence, you are a healer.
Quite typically you'll heal more than the bard, ranger or paladin. This will make you the primary healer, and hence the default target of reference by "healer".
If I put an lfm up for a healer, it's because I want someone who heals, no matter what else they plan on doing.

Since you and others have commented let me clarify. My original post was referring to the "act of referring to someone as a healer," it has nothing to do with how the cleric/fvs should play their character. How a cleric/fvs should play is outside the realm of my post. Rather, I am referring to what I think is a revealed mentality of someone who mentally (and then quite verbally) pigeonholes players by class icons. They tend to be newish to the game and its mechanics as well tend to lack a survival instinct beyond hoping someone else takes care of them. At least that is what I seem to be observing when my cleric (who yes heals quite well as an intended vocation) regularly out-kills those players who will constantly refer to it as the healer, but not necessarily those who just go by my name or say cleric or anything else. Makes me wonder what they think they are, the follower, the patient, the piker?

... when you petition for a name change to "Mis Adventure" to improve your kill count
... when unequipping then re-equipping a gfl item temporarily makes your red bar half full
... when you struggle to take aggro away from the small farm animal you summoned

....and you posted a 14-17 LFM for it, because you need an "experienced" player to guide you...

n00b or gimped ?
* you're prolly a n00b if you dont know what being *gimped* is.
* you're prolly a n00b if you try to detect secret doors with a Knock spell.
Smacks forehead I wrote that out wrong! How did I write it that way?! *shot*
It's fixed now. *hangs gimp head in shame*

You break out your real life dice when people tell you to reroll your character.
You think your character could pwn the Tomb of Horrors.
You think you BUILT the Tomb of Horrors.
You petition for a special Smite button to deal with those who annoy you.
You like to raise your party member death count.
You spend more time making your character look like something you'd cosplay than making it work.
You named your character God.
You ask yourself "Why aren't there halfling size Warforged?"

that exists. it's called kormor's belt.
...all your might be a gimp examples are for level 10 and under content.
...you yell over voice chat how someone opened the chest before you could bless it.
...you get personally angry when someone points out game mechanics that are substandard because you happen to utilize all of them on your newest build.
...you are the only one dying multiple times in a party.
...you build your rogue for 'traps'.
...you can't seem to figure out that rouge != rogue and/or you can't figure out what != means.
...you maximize one aspect of your character and brag about it loudly despite knowing that you gimped an equally important aspect of your character horribly for that privilage and hope no one notices.
...you keep on saying I'm so used to playing warforged when you get hit by negative levels on your horc (special shout out for a guildy :)).
...your character is based upon a pnp character you had or even worse a character from a novel.

Your character dies before ever entering the Grotto.
You ask yourself "What would Jeets do?".
You use this list as a checklist.
You try to apply tactics from Munchkin to DDO.
You think a DnD shirt gives you bonuses to your character.
You attempt to bribe the "DM" in DDO.
