View Full Version : Pure Good not applying UMD check & causing ML issue.

Pure good in crafting isn't requiring the UMD check to use, resulting in inflated ML costs.

In the hands of my Lowbie FvS is a +1 shock long sword of pure good, min level 4. Not bound, pulled from a chest. I just created 2 mirrors of the weapon and the level required is 7. All was fine till I affixed the pure good. +1 and shock was still usable, affixing pure good shot the ML up to 7.

Pure good on RanGen weapons now is a wash with regard to ML, it raises and lowers it by the same amount due to the UMD check that should be required. Not happening in crafting.

I think it may have something to do with them setting the actual enhancements too high, whereas shock/puregood increase item/weapon level by 2 then another 2levels from +1 enhancement and then 1 more level because of base item/weapon

(2+2+2+1)=7

that or pure good is actually +3 levels and +1 enhancement is only 1 level

in any case I would agree that the devs need to fix this --- don't forget, this system is only in beta and not many people have gotten high enough level to actually notice problems

I did want to mention that the minimum equip level on the crafted items is indeed not working properly. The min levels on crafted items are supposed to be lower than they are currently, and in most cases, lower than random loot.
