Double Bonus Points and Point Cards

Why doesn't it apply? I personally stick to using the point cards instead of buying with a credit card, and feel left out whenever a "Double Bonus Points!" promotion rolls around and it doesn't apply to me (especially since the first time it happened, I bought a couple cards with the expectation that it would work, and was disappointed).

Anyway, this is kind of a /rant, and I strongly doubt I'm going to get a change (or response) out of Turbine, so sorry if this wasted your time :(.

Anyway, this is kind of a /rant, and I strongly doubt I'm going to get a change (or response) out of Turbine, so sorry if this wasted your time :(.The main reason it does not apply is that Turbine makes less of a profit off the cards, as they have to make them cheaper so the store will turn enough of a profit to make reselling them worth it.

However I know certain other companies occasionally have an extra point bonus just for the storebought cards. It helps clear the shelves and the people who only buy the cards like you, so perhaps they will consider having that special one day.
